Go Green!

Many of you can identify with wanting to be "green" and saving some at the same time. The plain truth is, going green is usually pricey. Buying organic foods adds up on your grocery bills, buying special products can cost a fortune, and considering solar panels? Goodness, they are expensive! But, let's face it. Sooner or later it needs to be done. Did you know some scientists believe in 50 years we will be out of clean water for the world's population? So what's your great grandbaby going to drink?

In April I want to focus on inexpensive, but efficient ways to go green. I am going to be reviewing some fabulous eco friendly products and..... giving away some gift certificates to a great "go green" online retailer. How fun? Then I am prepping to share an awesome go green tutorial project that I just know you will love.

As if that wasn't enough, expect free downloadable projects for your kiddos that I will show you how to use again and again. We'll save paper, save trees, and help reduce those carbon footprints of ours at least a little!

OH!!

Check out Melissa's blog Here. She is hosting a recipe contest. Try some out and vote. Because cooking at home instead of eating out can be pretty green too, right?

The Best Pasta Salad ever is my entry. Try it, you'll love it, I swear! And then vote for it!! Please? :)

Check back soon and we'll learn about protecting out environment and having fun!

I appreciate this idea SO much. I've been sewing my own "green" shopping bags. But I'm at a loss for what else to do. This is a fabulous idea!

Oh, I forgot. You are right, I usually love Barbie, I played with her when I was growing up, it's this particular model that bothers me. ;)

Yes, going green and having green sometimes seems to conflict. I can't wait for ideas!

I am not as green as I'd like to be because GREEN$ is required.
